Dr. Lionel Lenkinski graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1979. He then completed a general practice residency at University Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He took his specialty training in endodontics at Boston University, Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry in Boston, Massachusetts, which he completed in 1982.
Lionel has been president of the West Toronto Dental Society, Ontario Society of Endodontists. The Ontario Association of Dental Specialists, and a six year Director of the Ontario Dental Association.
He has taught at the faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto, helping train dentists, endodontists and providing continuing education to other dentists. He speaks regularly in continuing education programs.
Lionel is also a founding member and Past-President of the Canadian Dental Protective Association, and is currently a consultant to them and to the legal profession on risk management, and standards of care issues.
Dr. Mary Tam graduated from the School of Dentistry at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2001. She then received a Master of Science degree while completing her specialty training in endodontics at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2003.
Following successful completion of the National Dental Specialty Examination in 2003, Mary was conferred a Fellowship in Endodontics with the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
