Endodontics, also referred to as “root canal therapy”, is the dental specialty which involves the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, infection and pain that originate from within the tooth in the dental pulp or “nerve” of the tooth. Root canal therapy involves the removal of diseased tissue, infection, the repair of root structures to allow healing of the affected area. Our practice includes the treatment of previously root canal treated teeth, both through the retreatment of teeth previously endodontically treated and the microsurgical repair where indicated.

At Endodontic Specialty Group Dr. Lenkinski, Dr. Tam are dental specialists in the field of Endodontics who have accredited educational training and expertise in these procedures, and have limited their practice to providing endodontic therapy, and are certified as specialists by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

Our practice is dedicated to the delivery of this specialized aspect of dental treatment utilizing the most current techniques, and equipment available. For those patients who have anxiety about dental treatment, nitrous-oxide and some forms of oral sedation are available.
